The Women Behind Bronze + Vine
Hi! Thanks for being here with us! I’m Jenna Goodfellow and I am one half of Bronze + Vine. I am living the coolest decade of my life…my 30’s …with my hunky hubby and our funny, sweet, and adventurous little boy. I am a busy mompreneur as stay-at-home mom with a side-hustle…and since launching Bronze + Vine… 2 side hustles.
You can always find me whipping up a new recipe, taking a spin class, hanging in the backyard, playing cars or watching Paw Patrol lol. My favourite day of the week is PIZZA SUNDAY…there is nothing better than enjoying a delicious Za with your favourite people!
One of my favourite things to do is wine and dine, be it a date night with my hubby, a girl’s night or brunch with my mom! Winnipeg has such a vibrant and exciting restaurant scene with so many options! I usually gravitate towards small pates and sharables…why try one thing when you can have a bit of everything…pair it with a craft cocktail or glass of vino and you’re set!
My professional background is in marketing and despite not returning to a 9-5 career after having our son, I keep finding myself connected to this part of my life in one way or another. Early in my career I dabbled in planning large events…this sparked my passion party planning. It is such an adrenaline rush to see the plans you’ve put to paper come to life! I believe there is always a reason to celebrate and that even small details can make a big impact!
Jenn and I have been friends for 10 years, gee time flies when you're having fun! We are excited to give you a peek behind the curtain of how-to party plan the Bronze + Vine way, and share a glimpse into our Peg city lives! Hi! I’m Jenn Baker and I am one of the women behind Bronze + Vine. I am a 30-something year old with an amazingly supportive husband and two adorable, rambunctious, little boys. My boys are almost two and almost four and keep me on my toes everyday! We love painting, playing in the backyard, going to the park and watching Paw Patrol together. My husband and I like to play cribbage, trivia games, and have Dr. Mario battles on Nintendo during our "at-home" date nights. I have two older sisters who are also my best friends. They’ve taught me so much growing up, I still go to them for advice practically daily, and they are two of the most inspirational women I know!
I love checking out all the locally owned restaurants in Winnipeg and especially enjoy tapas style menus. I can never decide on what I want to eat so I get excited when I can try a bunch of different dishes! I love a good cocktail to start off the evening, but sharing a bottle of red wine over some delicious food is my favorite way to unWINEd… haha. I also love getting dressed up for date night or ladies’ night, and even though most of the time I’m in jeans, I have about 30 dresses in my closet.
My previous work background was in Human Resources, but a couple years ago we decided to focus on our family. And I have always had a passion for party planning and hosting, sometimes I even make up a reason to throw a party just so I can plan something! Making balloon garlands is my favorite, but mine are pretty amateur in comparison to the balloon décor we’ve seen at some events!
