Our Top 5 Winnipeg Patios
Winnipeg’s summers are usually hot and sunny, but soooo short! We love dining out on patios and soaking in as much of the beautiful weather as we can and Winnipeg has no shortage of amazing patios to choose from.
We have a lot of favorites, but narrowed down our list to our Top 5! Whether you're planning a brunch, date night, or dinner with friends, you're sure to love one of these patios.
Pineridge Hollow
While it's about a 20 minute drive outside the city, Pineridge Hollow is worth the trip. Set on a beautiful acreage, Pineridge Hollow has so much more to check out than just the restaurant! The restaurant is so family-friendly and has a large patio overlooking the manicured gardens. They also have a screened in patio off the dining room, if you prefer to be out of the sun, but still get some fresh air! Head there for their delicious farm-fresh brunch menu and check out the store while you’re there – they have everything from quirky gifts to clothing and custom furniture! The property also has a mini petting zoo and Farmer’s Market every Saturday! We love their extensive Mocktail menu and the Frozen Lemon Meringue is a must try.

Smith - Inn at the Forks
Ideally located at The Forks, Smith Restaurant is one of our all-time favorite Winnipeg Restaurants. They've recently extended their patio to provide more seating and spacing between tables. Their food is ALWAYS amazing, especially the Gnocchi, and the atmosphere is so versatile, whether you’re visiting for brunch, a lunch date or dinner out with friends, you’ll feel welcome and comfortable. Get dressed up and enjoy the fun cocktails in the cozy patio seating or have a full meal at their outdoor dining tables! If you’re looking for a fun summer staycation, they also have amazing packages that include a night stay at the Inn at the Forks, spa services and brunch at Smith.

Inferno's Bistro
Inferno’s Bistro is a great date night spot, centrally located in St. Boniface. The patio is right at the entrance to the restaurant, but is well closed off from the busy surrounding streets. Through the summer, they have fresh floral blooms and a quaint atmosphere. And they take reservations for the patio.

La Roca
One of Winnipeg's best Mexican restaurants with a spacious two-tier patio. The atmosphere is lively and upbeat, making it perfect for ladies’ night out or a later dinner with a small group of friends. They have drink and appetizer specials Tuesday thru Thursday and some of the best tacos in town! Go for the live music starting at 7pm, Thursday thru Saturday.

While we haven't actually dined on the patio yet, their seasonal menu is one of the BEST in the city and the service is always fantastic! The ambience is cozy but upscale and it makes for the perfect date night or ladies’ night out spot! We can’t wait to check out their patio this summer.
